I Like : Saralynnart's beautiful drawing

Last month I was so lucky that I won 2 giveaways from 2 inspiring artist bloggers. One is on the way and the other is this lovely postcard pack from Sara Lynn Art a talented illustrator whose hand drawn illustration just captures me :-)

Look at the stroke details. Amazing, isn't it? I also like the faint red that blends very well with pale gray strokes. This really gives out a sense of a cozy, peaceful night. Outside is cold with falling snow, but with a cup of hot coffee (or chocolate?), she's just happy enough, I think ^-^



Best of all is this charming mini print. She uses this drawing as her avatar and I think I remember her from the beginning because of this unique image.

I Like : Chanyeevon's lovely bookplates

I love the sky.. especially the passing clouds that look like a curious baby whale

Above is what Chanyeevon, the creator of these wonderful bookplates, says in her Etsy profile page. I think it's beautiful and represents her work very well. Go and look around her shop and you will know what I mean :-)

This could be considered as a new year gift I bought for myself :-) It took me some time to choose which one I wanted the most. Actually, I was considering some cute bookplates from Yeevon's other shop, WhimsyWhimsical where you have to visit too, what adorable rabbit and fox drawing! I was torn between the beauty of these girls and cuteness of the fox, finally the girls won :-)

I love her illustration, especially her choice of colors, very unique. The blue-haired girl, I think her name is Luna, makes me think of a peaceful night, sitting under the dark blue sky sprinkled with tiny stars and feeling nice cool breeze. Just wonderful...

Yeevon is also kind enough to give me extra bookplates of her whimsywhimsical's owls and rabbits, Love love them! Thanks Yeevon, you inspire me! ^-^

I Like : WaterstoneJewelry and her giveaway!

Apart from searching for cute pretty drawings on Etsy, I, like other girls, also love browsing nice bags and accessories. I just found this shop WaterStoneJewelry a couple of weeks ago and already love visiting her blog where she posts nice and big photos of her items and stuffs. She also has nice tutorial section too.

I Like : I love reading -White and Red Cloud Bookmark

There are 4 things I do whenever I am not too busy with work, reading, buying books, browsing blogs and, of course, drawing. You may wonder: shouldn't reading and buying books be in the same category? Well, sometimes I just buy and buy books and not read them at all, an act you might call books buying addict. I hadn't thought of this kind of addiction much until I realized that most of my books on shelves were unread and in the past 3 months, I had spent so much money on books. So, I decided to prevent myself from buying more books as much as I could. The best way is not going out at all, which is quite easy as I work at home :-)

But now that I think I can save money on books, I encounter a dilemma here with Etsy. You see?...as long as I don't go out, my money wouldn't fly to bookshop for sure but for Etsy, it takes a great effort to resist the beauty of all things for sale over there. With one click and your amount of money in bank account will be smaller.

I fixed that by opening another account that links to Paypal and put small money on it so that I will have some kind of budget whenever I think about buying anything.

I don't think I'm a shopaholic. No, not yet ;-)

Anyway, I still love browsing things on Etsy and thankfully, there's Favorite page over there and I can save what I browse and like for future coming back. Here's one of them. A cute

So, I think this post is the first post of 'I Like' section. It will be records of what I find, love and want to buy on web but just not yet. It would be like the period of thinking through before spending money online, I hope :-)
