AEDM2010 : the floating ideas

Tell me how to catch all the floating ideas?

This morning I found This quote on a site :

I like work; it fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours.

--- Jerome K. Jerome

I must be so in love with my work because that is exactly what I do all day today lol :-P

  1. This is GREAT. I love it. Great concept, well executed.

  2. When you closed this notebook, you can catch them all :)

  3. Evelyn,
Thanks. You have a great blog too ;-)

That's true. :-) The ideas are caught in my book now. I hope it won't fly away when I open it next time! ;-D

  4. *Made me smile.* Cool concept, and the job watcher is absolutely cute. :)

  5. I love it!

Catching all those ideas can be quite a challenge. I can definitely relate.

  6. Great quote, it made me chuckle. Mostly though, I love your idea of floating ideas. Darling cover for a book.

  7. I love this! Wonderful! (You should submit it to Inspiration Avenue where this week's challenge is "ingenuity"!

  8. Love these balloon light bulbs! How clever! And I like that there are so many that they floated up onto the other page.

  9. I see how it would make you happy to look at your work all day! Your drawings are so sweet and happy!

  10. Oooh, wow, I love these! Great compostition.

Thanks for sharing, and thanks for your kind comments on my blog. You feed my pen.

(off the edge, but learning to fly)

  11. Thanks everyone!

Well, what I looked at all day was not this drawing or any other of my art though :-P

It was a blank page I looked at while I tried to think of some new ideas for my graphic work.

Sometimes I have no idea at all and too many times I have bit of this or that idea which is not interesting enough to work with yet.

I need something that 'click', I guess :-)

  12. I like your picture and your quote... they both made me smile.

  13. This is beautiful and I love how rich the black ink looks on the brown paper. The balloon/lightbulb design is lovely, and the girl's expression is so charming and perfect!

  14. You inspired one of my Sketchbook Project spreads this week too! Thanks!
