AEDM2010 : Sketchbook Project page16-17

SKETCH09

Something upset me yesterday and I couldn't focus on my work so I did these instead. I notice that even when I am in a bad mood, my drawing never shows the dark side of me. I guess my hand just works automatically on something that it already remembers. I wonder if I know how to draw something malicious, like bloody knife or killing scene, will this page look different?

Anyway, it lifted my spirit and today I'm feeling good again :-)

I love drawing black ink on brown paper. It's fun!

  1. Your blog is so great! I love the illustrations with the recipes. What a great idea!
I started the cover of my sketchbook yesterday. I decided to use fine point Sharpie markers on the brown paper cover. It actually worked really well! I've never tried to work on coarse brown paper like that!

So it's good that your drawings is not influenced by your emotions :D Keep up with your sketchbook projects! Almost done half of the book edy! *nice to see you try out different paper materials~*
