I try to draw every night. There's still more I have to show here and 12 spreads to fill in. My mind already jumps to the next sketchbook. This time it will be my own project so that I don't have to part with it at the end as I have to for the Sketchbook Project 2011 :-(. I feel sad already but to think that more people will see my drawings, it's kind of exciting!
I should finish this book by the end of this week. I must, actually :-P
I like the red one, so bright.
ReplyDelete:) Go for it!!!!
Enjoyed looking through your blog, so colorful and happy :)
ReplyDeleteThese sketches are awesome. It is great that you are sending you artwork out to the universe!
ReplyDeleteI adore the yellow lined paper for your home sweet home piece! I also adore the sweet expression of the girl on your red piece. Will this sketchbook be in a traveling exhibit? It is such a stunning work of art!
ReplyDeleteI have a question - did you make this book or did it come with so many gorgeous papers? I've never seen a sketchbook like this before!
I already commented on this, but I wanted to let you know that I've nominated you for the Stylish Blogger Award! (here: http://saralynnart.blogspot.com/2011/01/little-pink-fairy-some-stylish-blogs.html)
ReplyDeleteGo Pavinee!!
ReplyDeleteThese are great! Can't wait to see the rest! And to hear it is on its way!
I especially love the red page!
MissBoom,
ReplyDeleteI like the red too! :-D
MaLLIenka,
Welcome to my blog! Happy to see you here ^-^
Heather
Yes! I can't wait to see what others think about this book :-)
Sara,
Yes, This book is a project for The Sketchbook Project 2011 You can see details from button link on my sidebar. In short, the project is to apply to the group, pay a fee and they will send you a Moleskine with barcode on it. Your task is to fill in the book with drawings and then send it back to them. The interesting part is that they will take your book tour around USA so people will enjoy your drawing!
The postmark deadline is January 15 so I need to be in good speed now :-)
I think they hold the project every year, you should join it.
Btw, since the paper of the book is so thin and I use a lot of ink, I glued some of the pages with color papers and enjoy drawing on them :-)
And thank you for the blog award, Sara. Yeevon already gave me one. What a compliment! The two of you! I feel so honored. Thanks so much ^o^ I will post the award soon!
EVA,
Thanks! :-D
Pavineeeeee, the third illustration (the red background) is so beautiful!! I think you can have that on your shop!!
ReplyDeleteI love how you draw the petals and her sweet expression underneath that. What's more, the cursive border is sooo sweet!
That's a great outlook to have, just to draw, especially near every night. Keep enjoying :)
